Welcome to Specstyler. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

 

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our website.

 

3. Product Information

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to reconfirm or cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as canceled. Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice.

 

4. Ordering and Payment

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason. Payment must be made at the time of order placement. We accept various payment methods, which will be specified during the checkout process. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method.

 

5. Shipping and Delivery

 

5.1 Shipping

We offer free tracked shipping on all orders over $99. All orders are dispatched using trusted courier services, and a tracking link will be provided once your order has shipped.


5.2 Delivery

Manufacturing and assembly of prescription glasses (including accessories) typically require 5-10 working days. Once dispatched, delivery times range from 5 to 15 working days, depending on the shipping method and destination. Please note that these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any delays caused by third-party carriers.

 

6. Returns and Refunds

 

6.1 Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, you may return the product within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided the item is in its original condition and packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that was included with the product. The product must be unused, unmarked, and undamaged. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

6.2 Instructions for Returns

1. Contact our Customer Service at connect@specstyler.com to obtain your Return Authorization (RA) number and prepaid return label.

2. Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging, including any documentation, accessories, and manuals received with the product. Ensure the package is secure to prevent damage during shipping.

3. Attach the prepaid return label to the outside of the package, covering any previous address labels.

4. Drop your package at any post store or box.

 

6.3 Refund Processing

We will process your refund or exchange request within 7 business days of receiving your return. Please allow additional time for the refund to be credited to your original payment method, as processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

 

7. Size Issues

Detailed frame measurements are provided on each product page. We recommend reviewing these measurements carefully before making a purchase. If you find that the glasses do not meet your expectations regarding size, please contact us at connect@specstyler.com for assistance.

 

8. Visual Colour Difference Issues

Please note that frame colours may slightly differ from what you see on the website due to lighting conditions, varying screen resolutions, and photo backgrounds. If the glasses do not meet your expectations regarding colour, please contact us at connect@specstyler.co.nz for further assistance.

 

9. Warranty

 

9.1 Manufacturer's Warranty

Our products come with a manufacturer's warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 30 days from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear, including but not limited to lens scratches, loose hinges, missing screws, broken frames, detached temple tips, or detached nose pads.

 

9.2 Consumer Guarantees Act

In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. For more information on your rights under the CGA, please refer to the Consumer Guarantees Act.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Specstyler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit your rights under the CGA.

 

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
